Excellent selection, thank you! May I add one more to it - a little known one that is yet to be fully appreciated. The 19th century luminary Baha'u'llah was to my knowledge the first one to state that the ultimate test of our spiritual awakening is our ability to see the earth as one country and humankind as its citizens, and to act accordingly. He introduced a new and explicit spiritual standard for the next stage of the spiritual evolution of human consciousness. Here's the quote:

That one indeed is a man who, today, dedicateth himself to the service of the entire human race... It is not for him to pride himself who loveth his own coutnry, but rather for him who loveth the whole world. The earth is but one country, and mankind its citizens.
